Animal Emergency Center is now proud to offer Magnetic Resonance Imaging services. Magnetic Resonance Imaging which is most frequently referred to as "MRI" is the most up-to-date technology available for acquiring the quickest and most precise images of the body on the inside. MRI uses a magnetic field, radio frequency waves, and advanced computer technology; thus allowing clear-cut imaging of soft tissue structures and organs. These structures include:
- Brain
- Spinal Cord
- Nerves
- Muscles
- Cartilage
- Ligaments
- Soft tissue structures
- Organs
We are currently offering MRI services on the fourth Saturday of each month. An appointment and referral is required for all MRI services. If you feel that your pet needs a MRI, please download a copy of our Referral form here or from the patient referrals page and take it to your vet to request a referral.
